The European Space Agency (ESA) has initiated the next phase in the development of IRIS², the European Union’s secure connectivity constellation. This move signals Europe’s strategic commitment to establishing a sovereign and resilient communication infrastructure in orbit. Eighteen consolidation contracts have been signed, bringing together nearly 80 companies from across the continent.
